Introducing MPEG-21

An Overview of the Multimedia Framework with exhibition of developments

The aim of this afternoon session is to provide a brief and easy to understand overview of the core parts of MPEG-21. The afternoon will contain a number of demonstrations of software and aims to give a view of this ‘big picture’ standard. Has MPEG-21 achieved its aim of  ‘transparent and augmented use’ of multimedia?
