Mandate:

AHG on MP4 Extensions

Mandate:

  1. Produce a study text of ISO/IEC 14496-15/FCD.

  2. Further study WD 2.0 on MPEG-21 File Format and provide extensions if needed to meet all MPEG-21 requirements and solicit contributions on the topic and produce WD2.0 of MPEG-21 File Format.
  3. Conduct discussions with JPEG in order to validate amendment items for the ISO File Format. Produce WD1.5 of ISO/IEC 14496-12/Amd.1. Investigate simple joint MPEG/JPEG standardization process for that amendment.
  4. Define workplan for the development of file format reference software and conformance for the new file format standards.
  5. Contribute to the usage of MPEG-7 data within MPEG-4 Systems.
