2. To refine the subset of XML Schema and the extensions necessary to satisfy MPEG-7 DDL requirements.

4. To resolve any DDL open issues;

5. To continue the liaison with W3C’s relevant working groups. This includes:

• Continued tracking of XML Schema developments;

• Investigation of how to extend XML Schema to satisfy MPEG-7 requirements;

• Input of specific MPEG-7 requirements to the XML Schema W3C Working Group;

• Dissemination of relevant W3C WG documents back to MPEG-7.
