Purpose of this contribution is to list Traditional Rights and Usages (TRU) of media users. Starting from a short list of TRUs proposed by the original author, today this document provides a significant, although still incomplete, list of TRUs as a result of contributions from subscribers to the public DMP reflector.

A significant, but still incomplete, number of TRUs have been analysed according to the criteria of 040102chiariglione02. The first DMP General Assembly has produced a draft list of requirements that will be used to develop Technical Specifications and Recommended Practices.

The following acronyms

A : Already-established legislative TRUs of content creators
B : Already-established legislative TRUs belonging to end-users
C : Commercial and remuneration TRUs of direct economic significance
D : TRUs related to general social liberties

F : Consumer-choice TRUs relevant to the high-tech environment
