Leonardo's project for life (so far) has been the transformation of Digital Media from potential to actual benefits to society and business. To achieve that goal Leonardo has led such initiatives as HDTV Workshop, MPEG, Image Communication, 64 kbit/s Workshop, DAVIC, FIPA, OPIMA, SDMI, DMP and dimin.it. His experience built over more than 35 years is recounted by Riding the Media Bits. Leonardo has set up CEDEO.net to leverage his experience and teamed up to spawn SmartRM and wimtv.it.
