Leonardo's project for life (so far) has been the transformation of Digital Media from potential to actual benefits to society and business. to achieve that goal Leonardo has led such initiatives as HDTV Workshop, MPEG, Image Communication, 64 kbit/s Workshop, DAVIC, FIPA, OPIMA, SDMI, DMP and dimin.it as tools to realise his vision. His experience built over more than 35 years in the field is recounted by .Riding the Media Bits. Leonardo has set up CEDEO.net to leverage his experience. In its turn CEDEO.net has teamed with others to build new opportunities, the first of which is SmartRM.
